Big congratulations to our new graduates and professor!

Last week, we traded our lab coats for our gayest attire as we celebrated a series of milestones. On Monday, Hanneke was officially appointed as full professor in Neuroscience of Learning & Choice (inaugural ceremony still to follow). On Wednesday, Ben defended his PhD defense on (ultra)sound neuromodulation, preceded by the symposium ‘From Lab to Clinic: Advances in Non-Invasive Brain Stimulation’ with brilliant talks by Til Ole Bergmann and Elsa Fouragnan. Dr. Ben did an amazing job, and we are super proud of him!

Later that week, three of our MSc interns graduated, though luckily for us they are all still in Nijmegen! Fleur is now a PhD student at Cognitive and Affective Neuroscience lab, Rareș is now PhD student at Motivation, Effort and Decision-Making lab (and still collaborating with us, yay!), and Mihaela – who we are lucky to keep on as a research assistant in our lab, running a large pharma study. Heartfelt speeches, proud families and friends filled the air with joy and song (literally). We are incredibly proud of our graduates and wish them continued success and joy on the next chapter of their scientific journeys!
